As you know, the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) initialized its journey in 1975 and since then it has been working with a specific aim to maintain internal security, eliminate armed gangs, recover illegal arms and explosives and help police in maintaining law and order in the society.

As a part of Bangladesh Police, 2 Armed Police Battalion is dedicated to work with a view to delivering professional and responsive services to its stakeholders. Our commitment is to ensure security and protection to every citizen and their properties with our level best efforts. We are also working to eradicate crimes and identify criminals and bring them into the book of law, to collect intelligence to ensure the safety and the security of our jurisdiction.

We are deliberately working to win the trust and confidence of the people by several activities, conducts and actions. Our main vision is to make the surroundings truly comfortable and secured one. We consider this as our ultimate goal too.
